Earthrise Ranch is a permaculture, regenerative, and conservation ranch in southern Oregon. We are offgrid, using solar, batteries, and water catchment.
Elena and Rus purchased the ranch in 2020 and have truly started building their vision in 2023. Elena’s brother Andy joined them on the mountain, too. Elena has always worked in climate for her career. She built a climatetech company and worked with Tesla, and burned out of city life and corporate work in 2020. Rus is from Siberia and moved to Carmel, California when he was 14. Growing up, he was taught how to thrive in extreme environments and to rely on local resources for food, shelter, and medicine. Andy joined Rus and Elena on the mountain in 2023 to prove that people can reuse things that have already been produced… and is proving it one pallet structure at a time.
